Who we are
The Marine Helper services are owned by the individual entrepreneur (sole proprietor, FOP) Oleinyk M.V., registered under the law of Ukraine. Location: Odesa, Ukraine. In the Marine Helper documents the words "we", "us" and "the Operator" mean this entrepreneur.
We provide seafarers with services for preparing CVs and mailing them to crewing companies and shipowners. We are not a crewing company, not an employer and not a training centre.
Our services
This page and every document in the "Documents" section apply to the following sites, apps and channels:
- marinehelper.com — the main site: description of the services, ordering a mailing or CV preparation, payment.
- marinehelper.com/app — the Marine Helper web app: CV builder and personal account.
- cv-check.marinehelper.com — free CV check.
- form.marinehelper.com — seafarer CV form samples and examples.
- partner.marinehelper.com — the partner program. It has its own Terms (version 1.0, effective 27 August 2026).
- The "Marine Helper" mobile app — currently a closed beta for Android; the iOS version will follow later.
- Support — by e-mail, and also on Telegram and Viber if you have written to us there.
Crewings.me is a sister service for seafarers and crewing companies. It has its own operator (CrewingsMe LTD) and its own documents, published on crewings.me; the Marine Helper documents do not apply to it.
Documents
The relationship between you and us is governed by the following documents:
- Terms of Service — the main agreement: services, orders, obligations of the parties, liability, disputes.
- Privacy Policy — what data we process, why, whom we share it with and how long we keep it.
- Payments and refunds — prices, payment methods, when the service starts and the refund rules.
- Disclaimer — what we guarantee and what we do not.
- Terms of the −50% promotion on every mailing — the discount on every order until 30 October 2026.
- Partner Program Terms — rates, payouts and restrictions for partners.
The documents are published in Russian and English; translations into other languages are provided for convenience. Where they differ, the Russian text prevails. The Partner Program Terms have their own language rule.

Governing law and supervision
Our activity and all Marine Helper documents are governed by the law of Ukraine. The personal data of users in Ukraine is protected by the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection". For users in the European Economic Area and the UK, the GDPR and the UK GDPR apply in addition.
The supervisory body in Ukraine is the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights. Users in the EEA and the UK may contact the data protection authority of their country. The mandatory consumer rights granted by the law of your country are not limited by our documents.
